APN (Access Point Name) is a gateway that connects a mobile network to the internet. It lets your device to connect to the internet via a mobile network. Setting up the proper APN is critical for using mobile data services on your device.
Why are APN settings important?
When you install a new SIM card into your device, you must change the APN settings to have access to mobile data services. Without the correct APN settings, you won't be able to browse the internet, send multimedia messages, or use any data-dependent apps.
